Privacy

When you press Start, Mindrunner captures only the audio you choose — your microphone and/or a meeting tab or app you explicitly share — and streams it to our speech-to-text provider for a live transcript. Recent transcript text, plus any notes you add, is sent to our AI provider to draft talking points and decisions/commitments. The live transcript stays in your browser tab; we don't store it on our servers.

If you're signed in and click ✓ on a drafted decision or commitment, that item is saved to your account with the short quote it came from.

When you record a meeting, the audio is saved on your device until it uploads, then stored encrypted on our servers so it can be transcribed. We delete meeting audio automatically after 7 days. The transcript and the meeting record (decisions, commitments, open questions, with the quotes they came from) stay in your account until you delete the meeting.

Private mode(the Mac app, macOS 26 or later): the meeting is transcribed on your Mac by Apple's on-device speech engine. No audio is uploaded or stored anywhere. Only the transcript text is sent to Mindrunner, so the record can be drafted, and it's kept the same way as above.

A follow-up email goes only to the addresses you type, only after you preview it and click Send, and contains only items you confirmed. Morning reminders go to your own address; every one has a one-click unsubscribe.

A share link lets anyone who has it view that meeting's confirmed decisions, commitments, and open questions — never the transcript, audio, or unconfirmed drafts — until you revoke it.

Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting, database, file storage, sign-in), Deepgram (speech-to-text), Google Gemini (AI drafting), and Resend (sending email, when you use it). They process data only to provide these services to us. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your meetings to train AI models.

Sign-in is with Google. We keep your account id and verified email address to run your workspace, send emails you ask for, and keep your meetings private to you. Your meetings are isolated from every other account at the database level.

Delete any meeting from its page: the meeting, transcript, record, share links, and audio are removed. Database backups roll off within 7 days. A security log records that a deletion happened. To delete your whole account and everything in it, contact us (below) and we'll do it within 30 days.

Only record or transcribe where you have the right to. Tell the people on the call when local law or workplace policy requires consent or disclosure. Mindrunner is not built or marketed as a cheating or “undetectable” tool.

During the private beta, reply to your invite email or write to the founding team directly for any privacy request.
